Our story
Eden and I had talked about starting something of our own for years before we ever threaded a needle for a customer. We'd toss around ideas, get excited, then set them aside when life got busy — work, family, the everyday things that fill up a calendar. But the idea never really went away. It just kept coming back up, a little more real every time. Somewhere along the way, embroidery became the thing that stuck. Maybe because it's personal — every monogram, every design, is made for someone specific. It felt like exactly the kind of work we wanted to put our names on. So we finally stopped talking about "someday" and started stitching. What began as an idea between two friends turned into Colors & Crest — a small studio built on the belief that the little details matter, and that a handmade piece made just for you is worth the wait. We're so glad you're here. Every order still feels full of possibility, and made with intention.
